Arrigo Boito

(Padova, 24 February 1842 – Milano, 10 June 1918)

The collection contains various manuscripts which belonged to the biographer Piero Nardi relating to the libretto and composition of Nerone, the reworking of the novella Il trapezio, and libretti prepared for other composers (including Giovanni Bottesini and Riccardo Pick-Mangiagalli), as well as material concerning lectures, researches and exercises in composition.
