This research sets out to find sources, catalogues and stored material on the following themes: military music and signals; postal music and signals; hunting bells, fanfares and signals; political and sports hymns, slogans and chants; background music, airport music, Krematorium-Musiken and other functional repertories; music accompanying silent films; sound objects related to clangour and environmental resonances: stadia, sports, various collective situations; various repertories for children; music and simple polyphonic music or with various neo-liturgical, neo-instrumental or new-age crossed-over origins.
