The Giorgio Cini Foundation, the Veneto Region and the Committee for the celebration of the centennial from the death of Pietro Bertoja presented several initiatives to remember the great set designer. Among those initiatives a competition is addressed to students of Universities and High Schools of the Veneto Region. Original projects inspired by the work of the set designer Pietro Bertoja will be awarded.

Scholarships
Seven scholarships are available. They cover enrolment fees, board, lodging, and travel (economy fare up to 700 Euro). To apply for selection, participants must send the following material to the Seminar’s secretary by February 1st, 2012:

The International Center for Climate Governance (ICCG) encourages to submit applications for two six-month visiting research positions for Phd Students or PostDocs. Research activities will be carried out in ICCG’s offices, based on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy.

Seven scholarships are available to professional or semi-professional ensembles specialized in late-medieval polyphony (vocal or vocal/instrumental trios or quartets). Application deadline: February 1st, 2011.
