On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the Art Night Venezia initiative, conceived by Ca’Foscari University in close collaboration and partnership with the City of Venice, returns.
The Fondazione Giorgio Cini is again participating in this year’s Art White Night by extending until 10 p.m. the opening of the Palazzo Cini Gallery in San Vio, which is hosting the exhibition Ljubodrag Andric. Spazi, soglie, luci on the second floor while for the “Guest at the Palace” exhibition review it will be possible to admire the painting with Christ on the Cross from the Museum of Palazzo Reale in Genoa, a masterpiece by Antoon van Dyck.
Entrance to Palazzo Cini will be exceptionally free from 6 to 10 p.m.
On the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, the exhibition The Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain by Jean Nouvel, a Collateral Event of the Biennale, will remain open until 10 pm.
In the exhibition spaces of Le Stanze della Ftografia, on the other hand, it will be possible to visit free of charge, without reservation, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. the exhibitions Robert Mapplethorpe. The Forms of the Classic and Maurizio Galimberti between Polaroid/Ready Made and Italo Calvino’s American Lessons curated by Denis Curti.
On the occasion of the White Night of Art, the guided tour service on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore is also expanded. At 7:30 p.m. it will be possible to visit the Borges Labyrinth.
At 8:30 p.m. there will instead be a visit to the monumental spaces of the Giorgio Cini Foundation (for information and reservation www.visitcini.it).
