Artistic bronze production in Venice e Northern Italy during the Reinassance

After the conference that took place in April 2006, dedicated to Tullio Lombardo, sculptor and architect in the Venetian Renaissance culture, the National Commitee for the celebration of the 550th anniversary of Lombardo’s birth (1455 – 2005) and the Giorgio Cini Foundation organise a second appointment focused on the topic The art industry of Renaissance bronze in Venice and Northern Italy, aiming at further analysing another aspect of Lombardo’s activity, together with his family: bronze sculpture, both in big monumental complexes and small collection bronzes. Participants will include: Giuseppe Pavanello, Anne Markham Schulz, Ann Hersey Alison, Vincenzo Farinella, Matteo Ceriana, Giovanni Morigi, Davide Gasparotto, Volker Krahn, Claudia Kryza-Gersch, Lorenzo Finocchi Ghersi, Adriana Augusti, Chrysa Damianaki, Charles Davis, Charles Avery, Susanna Zanuso, Marco Collareta, Marcello Miccio, Camillo Tonini, Simone Guerriero, Motoaki Ishii, Victoria Avery, Wolfgang Wolters, Giampaolo Ermini, Maria Luisa Bottazzi, Dylan Smith, Shelley Sturman.
