A outstanding quartet of international musicians in a show dedicated to deep space. The score and improvisations use a laid-back blend of samples, jazz, groove and sound to take a look at the moon, the solar systems, space travel and extraterrestrial life, mingling mythology with the world of science. The musicians are Norwegian pianist Jon Balke, who has worked with Archie Shepp, John Surman and Jon Christensen, double bass player Furio Di Castri, founder of the PAF trio together with Paolo Fresu and Antonello Salis, French drummer Patrice Heral, who has worked with Markus Stockhausen and the Vienna Art Orchestra, and Norwegian trumpeter Arve Henriksen, who has worked with the likes of Christian Wallumrød, Trigve Seim, David Sylvian.
