On the 19 March 2016 the Intercultural Institute of Comparative Music of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini is holding the public concert of the fifth edition of Bîrûn, that was dedicated to Greek composer in Ottoman classical music.
This series of advanced workshops, directed by Kudsi Erguner has involved 11 professional or semi-professional musicians, who has studied music by composers such as Zaharya (m. 1740), Petros “Lampadarios” (ca. 1730-1778), Vasilaki Efendi (1845-1907), Corci, Nikolaki o Yorgi
