Guardi: Turkish paintings

The ‘Turkish’ paintings occupy a special niche in the vast and varied world of the art of the Guardi family (Antonio, Francesco, Nicola, Giacomo). It is only in the last forty years that they have become an integral part of what is known on the Guardi workshop and the century-long bibliography concerning it, amplified in recent decades by many interesting and insightful projects.
