The Ludwig Van Picture Show. //Notre musique
The successful series of music and films at the Palazzo Cini continues in the month of April with more sessions for rare-music lovers. The first musical video appointment, on Saturday, April 5 at 17, will be Notre musique, a film by Jean-Luc Godard. Divided into three parts, Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso, the movie challenges traditional motion-picture language: Dante’s masterpiece is transferred into post-war Sarajevo, among darkness, slaughters, reprisals, all contracted in accelerated archive images, reportages, sections of war movies. Some kind of documentary focused on three young people and their loneliness. This is a multifaceted work, intentionally misleading, complex and very simple at the same time: something petrified touched by an ocean of images. Free entrance.
