On the occasion of the new seasonal opening of the Palazzo Cini Gallery at San Vio, scheduled from 21 April to 15 October 2023, there will be a new edition of Ospite a Palazzo: the exhibition initiative that presents masterpieces on loan from Italian and international collections and museums in the Gallery spaces.

From 11 May to 16 July, Artemisia Gentileschi’s painting Cleopatra, from the collections of the Fondazione Cavallini Sgarbi, will be on display: the work by the famous painter, whose activity is documented in Venice from 1626 to 1630, will be exhibited in the Gallery on the occasion of the loan of a set of Ferrara paintings from the Palazzo Cini collection to the exhibition Ercole de’ Roberti e Lorenzo Costa, to be held in Ferrara in early 2023.

At the end of July, it will be the turn of another illustrious ‘guest’: thanks to an exchange with the Royal Castle Museum in Warsaw, which will exhibit Sandro Botticelli’s painting depicting the Judgement of Paris from the Cini collections at the exhibition Memoria dell’Antico e il primo Rinascimento, the painting with the Church of the Holy Cross in Warsaw by the famous Venetian Vedutist Bernardo Bellotto will be presented in the Gallery salon, an initiative made possible thanks to the support of Assicurazioni Generali.
