Eyes on music: Projects on visual ethnomusicology

Call for applications for a research scholarship in memory of Diego Carpitella for the creation of an audiovisual product of ethnomusicological interest

 

As part of Eyes on music: Projects on visual ethnomusicology, the Intercultural Institute of Comparative Music Studies (IISMC) is offering a research scholarship dedicated to the memory of Diego Carpitella for the creation of an audiovisual product of ethnomusicological interest.
Italian or foreign researchers with experience in the field of visual ethnomusicology will be admitted for selection, preferably if under 40 at the application deadline, by presenting a new original project for the production of an audiovisual product for which they must hold exclusive rights.

The scholarship amounts to € 5,000.00 (pre-tax).

 

To participate in the selection, candidates must send the appropriate application form, having completed every section and with all the required attachments, to the IISMC secretary’s office (email to: musica.comparata@cini.it) no later than 16 April 2019.
